I originate from Hastings in East Sussex. I came to UEA to take a first degree in Mathematics and have been here ever since.
Out of university my main interests are sea angling, walking (which led to geocaching), music, football (in particular Brighton and Hove Albion, Dereham Town, Norwich City and Red Star Belgrade) and swimming. Back in my dim and distance past I used to play guitar in a local Norwich band. I still occasionally strum my vintage Fender Telecaster and the band has done the (very) occasional gig in the last couple of years.
